GAA: NAOMH BRID GAA CLUB NEWS

There was disappointing news on the Championship front for both our Senior and Reserve teams as they were defeated by Aodh Ruadh on Sunday afternoon.

The reserves put up a great fight despite being down to 12 men and fought to the end but the 3 man advantage for Aodh Ruadh helped them prevail on by 5 points.

Our seniors got of to a bad start when Aodh Ruadh goaled after a minute and struggled to get into the game from there on.

The lads battled hard to claw back the half-time deficit but Aodh Ruadh gave as good as they got and went through to the semi-final on a scoreline of 2-14 to 0-11. The club would like to thank everyone for coming out and supporting the lads on Sunday.

Our u21’s take on Convoy this Sunday in Tir Chonaill Pairc, Donegal Town in the u21B Championship Final. We encourage everyone to come along on Sunday and support the lads.
