An Clochan Liath Club Notes

Ba iad 2, 7, 8 agus 21 na huimhireacha lotto a tarraingeadh ag deireadh na seachtaine agus agus nior baineadh póta óir an lotto. Beidh €3,700 sa phóta óir don seachtain seo. Bhain na daoine seo leanas €20 an ceann Breda Boyle Diamond, Dungloe, Raymond Sweeney Cloughwally, Andrew Deish 7A Loughanure, Maggie Boyle Burtonport agus James Byrne Mass, Glenties.

Bhain Bernie Sweeney as Bunbeg, Brid Molly as Tangavane agus Ann Marion Sweeney as Sheskinarone €100. ag an bhingo.

The Minor board AGM was held on the 12th of November and the following officers were elected for 2013. Chairman Peter Ward, Secretary Marie Bonner, PRO Eamon McGee, Delegates to the southern board Paul Martin, Eugene McGarvey & Jimmy O’Donnell.

Managers for the various teams were also selected U-18 – Tony Boyle, U-16 Eugene McGarvey, U-15 Og Sport – Eugene McGarvey, U-14 Marty Boyle & Peter Ward, U-13 Eoin Bonner & Eamon McGee, U-12 John Ward, Anthony Ward, Shaun McGonagle, U-10 Dessie Gallagher, U-8 Raymond Sweeney. Also mentioned at the night was the need to have additional help and volunteers for the ladies and hurling teams.

A proposed information night to be held at a future date in order to attract some new volunteers and help in the future running of all these teams, more to follow on this. A fun day in the RCS gym starting at 10am is also scheduled for the 24th of November 2012 in aid of John Boyle’s cerebral palsy treatment fund. Finally the minor board presentation will take place on the 27th of December 2012 in the parochial hall at 8pm.

The Club would like to sincerely thank Patrick and all at the Bayview Bar for a great fundraiser on Saturday night. A Big thank you to Thomas who contributed greatly to the proceedings and to the girls, Theresa and Emma and Éimear who provided their services on the night and last but not least to the brave volunteers Daniel, John, Hugh, Conor, Kevin, Ciaran, Donal, Patsy, Conor and James who made it such a successful night.
