Club Notes – Naomh Adhamhnáin – 19.11.12
The Seniors travelled to Ardara on Saturday and went down to a defeat fielding an understrength team. They take on Gaoth Dobhair in O’Donnell Park in their Final game next Sunday, Nov. 25th.
The Minors put in a good display to see off N. Conaill in the championship semi-final on Sunday winning by 4-09 to 1-5, they will now meet Kilcar in a repeat of the U16 final in 2010. The game isscheduled for Wednesday evening in MacCumhaill Park
The Minor Girls claimed another piece of silverware on Saturday when they travelled to Termon and took home the Karen McGlynn Memorial Cup. They are scheduled to play in Ulster next weekend, again keep an eye on social media for details.
The U13 Boys scraped into the county final by the narrowest of margins on Friday in Ardara with an injury time Matthew McGovern point sealing a 1-point victory on a score of 0-14 to 3-04. They will take on N. Conaill in the Final this weekend, probably Saturday.
The AGM has now been moved to Saturday, Dec. 1st at 6pm in the Clubhouse due to the Seniors game next Sunday.
The Mass for Deceased Members will take place in the Clubhouse this Thursday, Nov. 22nd at 8:30pm (sharp!) and is upstairs this year.
The Minor Board AGM takes place in the Clubhouse on Thursday, December 6th at 7pm. Forms will be sent by e-mail shortly.
