Fintown Harps AFC 3 Donegal Town Reserves 0

In cold condition at Pairc Acla Fintown took the lead early with great work from Daragh Gallagher, playing a through ball to find Aaron Thompson in the box. Thompson made no mistake putting the Harps in front 6 minutes into the game. Shortly after Delaney was taken down just outside the box, Daragh took the free and slotted it into the bottom right hand corner of the net. Fintown very unlucky not to further their lead with attempts by Aaron and Daragh coming off the post. Donegal found it very hard to get past a strong Fintown defence in the first half.

The second half was much the same with very few scoring opportunities created by either team. In the 25th minute of the second half Shan Mc Millian got a through ball from Daragh and slotted it into the back of the net to make it 3-0 to the homeside. Team performances by both teams.

Referee: Mickey Mulhern.
