Shaun DiverDONEGAL man Shaun Diver is on his way home tonight – €63,400 richer.

The Gaoth Dobhair man had already bagged €40k on RTE’s Winning Streak programme – and then went on to pick up another €22k when he got to spin the wheel.

And Donegal’s rich vein of form will continue next week when June Hughes, Ballybun, Castlefin, gets her chance to win a fortune on the popular TV show.

Shaun travelled to Dublin and RTE studios with family and friends.

Included in the entourage was close friend and former GAA All-Star Kevin Cassidy.

The Donegal crowd went to Dublin’s famous Kehoes Bar for a pint and lunch before making their way to Donnybrook studios for the TV programme.

Shaun’s luck was really in as he pocketed the largest sum of any of the contestants in the earlier rounds, €41,400.

And he was first to get three wheels in he last round to win his chance of spinning the wheel, pocketing another €2k on the way.

Shaun said ‘hello’ to his parents after his mum was hit with the flu bug and couldn’t travel from Donegal for the show.

“You can’t be bad to that,” he laughed after adding another €22k to his winnings.

It was certainly a good day for his wife Sorcha – it was her birthday.

The parents of Neasa and Eabha will be having a great celebration this weekend!
