Gardai have confirmed their investigation into a laser attack at Donegal Airport is ongoing.
Donegal Daily revealed on Monday how a flight from Dublin to Carrickfin on Monday evening was targeted as it attempted to land.
A Garda spokesman confirmed last night that the investigation was ongoing but no arrests have been made yet.
A spokesman for Loganair said they are taking the incident very seriously and said that previous incidents in Scotland had resulted in prosecutions.
Gardai in Bunbeg are carrying out the investigation into the incident.
The plane targeted had 18 passengers and three crew on board.
