A Newmills man told a Garda “ah sure it’s only a ticket” when he was stopped for driving while using a mobile phone.
Before Letterkenny District Court was Noel Devine of Kirkneely, New Mills.
Devine was stopped by Gardai on May 8th, 2012 at Rossbracken by Gardai.
The court heard that Devine, who did not appear in court, had a number of previous convictions.
They include drugs offences, drunk driving, no insurance and driving while using a phone.
Judge Paul Kelly fined Devine €500.
