GAA NEWS: NAOMH MUIRE CLUB NOTES

Peil na mBan / LadiesNaomh Mhuire rosses

The Second week of Gaelic4Girls is on Monday evening from 5-6pm. Over 70 Girls have registered and we have great support from parents and coaches to make this programme a success for our club. All help gladly accepted on Monday evenings. With this amount of girls training and playing games, the more help the better.

Well done to minors, Erika Hanna, Jade O’Donnell and Caroline Sharkey as well as under 16s, Ailbhe O’Donnell and Sadhbha Ní Bhaoill who were on duty with the county teams at the weekend.

The under 16 Girls had a good away victory last Tuesday night in Glenswilly and their next game in the next round is on Tuesday evening 23rd in Mounthcharles against St. Nauls @ 6.30pm. The bus will be leaving Anagaire car park at 5.10pm sharp. Gather up the troops and let’s get the support to Mounthcharles to support the girls.

100 Club

The club are now launching the new cycle of the 100 club. Make a donation of €20 a month to the club and you will be entered into the monthly draw where there is €1,000 worth of cash prizes to be won. One lucky winner will win €400 as the top prize each month with nine other cash prizes to be won. The donation to the club works out at just over €4.50 a week. New members are more than welcome and we would make a special appeal to all ex-pats living outside of Ireland to be part of the improvement of our club. All the money raised from the 100 club will go straight into the development works currently underway at the Banks. We offer standing order or collection by a club member by way of payment. Check the website for full details or to download an application form.
