SENIOR FOOTBALL

The lads traveled to Bundoran hoping to make it 2 wins in a row. Playing with the win in the first half , Mac Cumhaills conceded an early goal. The lads found their stride and pegged Bundoran back , with frees form Marty O Reilly and points from Darren O Leary, Stephen O Reilly and Gavin Gallagher. A Benny Mc Laughlin goal saw Mac Cumhaills lead at half time by two points. The breeze died down in the second half and it was a very even affair. Bundoran were reduced to 14 men with 5 mins to go. More points from Marty, Darren and Pat Mc Nulty gave Mac Cumhaills another well deserved win. Well done lads. Full time score was Realt na Mara 2-07 Sean mac Cumhaills 1-13. The Four Masters girls came out fighting and brought the game back to 2 points with a well taken goal. The Mac Cumhaills girls dug deep and hit a purple patch, hitting the net four times in quick succession. Final score was Sean mac Cumhaills 5-04. Four masters 1-00. This was a brilliant display from such a young team. well done girls.
