NOW JIMMY’S LADS ARE ALL WORKING HARD – OFF THE PITCH!

Jimmy is still winning matches and now all the boys have jobs.Jim McGuinness

Donegal manager Jim McGuinness issued an SOS recently looking to get secure employment for his players.

At the time at least five of his players including Ryan Bradley, Anthony Thompson, Leo McLoone, Paddy McGrath and Eamonn McGee were struggling to find work.

McGuinness was outspoken in saying the players had put their lives on hold for Donegal and they deserved jobs.

But as the team continue their defence of their All-Ireland title, the Glenties man has revealed all the lads are now working.

However he said they still need security if they are to continue to play for their county.

“We have got them all employed, we worked very hard on that.

“The jobs they are in are good and they are happy in their jobs but we would like to get them into jobs where there is a bit of security, so if they want to get married or get a mortgage, there is something available to them.

“For some of them that is not the case at the moment,” he said.
