A CO Donegal man has appeared via videolink in court today charged with 15 counts of indecent sexual assault.
The accused, who cannot be named for legal reasons, had admitted the charges at a previous hearing in Dungloe.
All the charges relate to one alleged victim between 1984 and 1987.
The defendant appeared at Letterkenny District Court via videolink from Portlaoise prison
He spoke three times during the brief hearing to confirm he could hear the proceedings and understood the charges.
The case was adjourned until August 8th.
The defendant will appear again via videolink on that date.
At a previous hearing the man, who is 57 and already in custody, had heard evidence from a Garda John Gallagher that he had replied ‘guilty to all charges’ when they were put to him.
