The senior team had a dominant victory over neighbours Termon at the Burn road on Sunday. Goals from a Michael Murphy penalty and Neil Gallagher secured two more league points on a final tally of 2-13 to 0-11.Glenswilly GAA Club

Next weekend both seniors and reserves travel to Dungloe for league games with throw in at 1-30pm for reserves and 3 o’clock for the seniors on Sunday (25/08/13).

The 3rd team had on overwhelming victory over Muff in the quarter final of the Junior B Championship on a score of 3-16 to 1-03 in O’Donnell park on Saturday evening past. They now meet letterkenny Gaels in the semi-final, pencilled in for a 4-30 throw in O’Donnell park again on Sunday(25/08/13).

Our minor team lost out in the divisional final to Downings last Friday evening on a score of 1-08 to 0-08 played at Portsalon. It was very disappointing for our lads not helped by the absence of key players due to injury. Now the management and players are hoping to bounce back with a victory in the all county semi-final div.2 over Naomh Columba in Ardara tonight Tuesday 20th August, throw in 7 o’clock. All the best boys.

The u-16s recorded a victory over Moville on Monday night(19th August) in Glenswilly in a league fixture.

The lotto numbers for this week were 5,14,16 and 19. Match 3 winner is Ultan Feely Churchill. Next week seller is Thomas Simmons.

We would like to congratulate all our members who sat the Leaving Cert exams and by now have received their results. We wish you all the best in your choices for the future whether it be in search of employment or moving on to third level education.
