GAA NEWS – NAOMH ULTAN RESERVES BEAT MacCUMHAILLS

Royal Flush Draw – Royal Flush Draw results for the weekend of 18/08/2013 were 9, 10, 12 & 21. There was no winner of the jackpot of €1780. Consolation prizes went to Pauric Howley, Roy Adair & Pauric McInern. Next week’s jackpot now stands at €1820 and the draw will take place in Macs Bar.NAOMH ULTAN

Clothes Bank – A reminder to all in the parish there is clothes bank just outside the grounds of the clubhouse and it can be used anytime. All proceeds made goes back to the club so please try your best to support.

Adult Football – Our Reserve side had a good victory on Saturday evening in MacCumhaill Park where they defeated Urris by 0-15 to 1-07 in their Junior B Championship quarter final fixture. Scorers were Sean Furey 0-5, (3 frees), Liam Kennedy 0-4, (3 frees), Aaron Byrne 0-3,, Paul Byrne, Adrian Nesbitt & Andrew Blain 0-1 each. The draw for the semi final was made Sunday evening and the team has been paired with Ardara. The game is now fixed for this Saturday, August 24th at 5:30pm in Glenties. Our Senior game were not in action over the weekend due to a bereavement in the Na Rossa club. They are now fixed to play Burt away on Saturday evening at 7:00pm.
