MAN’S BODY TAKEN FROM DONEGAL MOUNTAINSIDE

BREAKING NEWS: The body of a man has been taken from the Derryveagh Mountains.

The Rescue 118 helicopter took the man's body from the mountain this afternoon

The Rescue 118 helicopter took the man’s body from the mountain this afternoon

It is believed the man may have suffered from a heart attack while tending to sheep this afternoon.

Members of the Donegal Mountain Rescue Team responded to an emergency call after 4pm by some of the men’s colleagues.

The emergency response team from the DMR responded and made their way to Aghlamore, between Dunlewey and Falcarragh

The man was transported by Rescue 118 helicopter to hospital.

The age or identity of the man has not yet been made public.

We will bring you further details of this incident as they emerge.
