GAA NEWS: REGISTRATION NIGHT AT ST EUNAN’S

Membership Registration for 2014 begins this Wednesday, Feb. 5th in the Clubhouse between 6:30pm and 8pm. Prices are the same as last year. Contact Anne Forde with any queries on 086-8342449.

Last One Standing begins this week and there will be a collection night also this Wednesday (5th) in the Clubhouse between 6:30pm and 8pm. Please spread the word and get your entries to Paul McGovern ASAP! Entry forms can be downloaded from the club Facebook page.

There is a meeting in the Clubhouse this Monday, Feb. 10th at 7:30pm for all Coaches / Managers / Mentors of all teams that will have players from U8 up to Minor (including adult teams that may be playing minors). There is a new compulsory Child Protection Course coming up in approx. 2 weeks that must be attended by all adults involved with teams that have underage players. It is also hoped that there will be details of Northern Board fixtures for 2014. All managers are also asked to bring any gear they may have that need handed over.

Contact Paul McGovern (paulmagoo@eircom.net) asap to book your slot on the Training pitch for the coming season. The pitch is only currently open to those that have games coming up in the next month or so.

Girls U14 Football continues every Thursday evening in Game On (Lisnennan) between 6:50pm and 8pm. Cost is €3 per week.

Girls U16 Football training begins this Wednesday, Feb. 5th also in Game On between 6:50pm and 8pm. Cost is €3 per week. Training is for all girls born before January 1, 2000.

The Hurling & Camogie Academy is up and running again on Friday evenings and takes place in Game On at the following times: U12’s Hurling is 5:30pm – 6:30pm

U6/ U8 / U10’s + U12 & U14 Girls are on 6:30pm – 7:45pm. Cost is €3.

This week’s winning numbers in the Club Lotto are 1-5-11-12 and we had 3 winners that matched 3 numbers and win €35 each. John McHale, Foxhills; Michael O’Dowd, Beechwood and Kieran McGrath, Ard O’Donnell (all card). Next week’s jackpot is €1,050.

Congratulations to Kathryn and Rory Kavanagh on the birth of baby daughter, Zoe Kate.
