GAA NEWS – GLENSWILLY UNDER 12s MEET TO DISCUSS SEASON AHEAD

A meeting will take place for the under 12s next Monday March 3rd in the club house at 6pm for the purpose of discussing the season ahead, all players and mentors are asked to attend. Players will be given a letter which parents are asked to read. The meeting will end at 7pm.Glenswilly GAA Club

Training for the under 12s will commence Friday March 7th at 6pm in the Aura Leisure Centre. Remember Gum Shields are compulsory for all underage players.

The winnig Lotto numbers this week are 2,4,16,17 with Andy Moy being the prize winner. This weeks sellers are Charlie Mc Grenra and Charlie Bonner. The jackpot stands at €3960.

The under 6s and 8s continue to train in the Game on facility every Sunday morning at 10.30am. An athletics programme has been introduced to the training which is proving to be very popular.

The under 10s are also training in Game On every Thursday evening.

A refresher course for all managers both underage and senior will take place in the clubhouse this Wednesday 26th at 7.30pm.TheTitle of the talk is ‘Warm Up Night’ and will be presented by Dr.Philip Glasgow. The talk should be of great value to all managers alike so please come along.

The club are hosting The Senior Scor county final this Friday 28th at 7.30 pm, if anyone is available to help out on the night it would be much appreciated.The club are holding another Registration evening this Thursday in the clubhouse fro 7 to 8.30pm. All players must be registered before they can take to the training field.Any queries regarding registration please contact Thomas Simmons on 087 2063018.

Elaine Mc Faddens Under 14 girls are starting training this Saturday March1st at the club from 3.30 to 5pm. all new players are welcome. A special thanks must go to Joe Gibbons for organising another successful poker classic in aid of the club and to Callaghans Bar Churchill for hosting a well attended Quiz night for the ladies team and also for taking on the role of main sponsors for our ladies.

Finally best of luck to Gary, Neil and Michael who are up against Monaghan this Sunday March 2nd in O’ Donnell Park throw in is at 2pm. All are advised to buy your tickets in advance at either Centra or Super Value outlets.
