GAA NEWS: HURLING CO-ORDINATOR TO VISIT NAOMH MUIRE GAA CLUB THIS FRIDAY

Naomh Muire GAA club is delighted to welcome Paudie Butler to the Clubhouse this Friday evening at 7.30pm.   naomh muire rosses

Paudie Butler is a former National Hurling Co-ordinator and a well respected voice in the development of children through games.

He is a sought after person and has addressed all the major GAA development conferences this year. ‘Inspiring Children: Fostering a love of Gaelic Games’ and “Developing confident, competent children” – are but two of his all-important presentations. Paudie Butler concentrates of the ages of 4- 12 years and offers invaluable advice on range of movement and encouragement for children at these ages. He talks about supporting coaches so that children can hear the language of positivity as they enjoy their games.

Naomh Muire GAA Club and the work of Bord na nÓg encourage all parents as well as club coaches, underage players over 16, teachers, Senior players and others who wish to hear Paudie Butler’s advice to come along to the evening.

The bank holiday weekend see a double set of fixtures where both seniors and reserves are in action. A trip to MacCumhaill park is first up on Saturday 31st and then on bank holiday Monday, Fanad Gaels make the long trip to the Banks.
The U-14 Girs were defeated by Naomh Columba last Tuesday in the Banks by one point. Their next game is against S. ‘Michael’s in Dunfanaghy on Wednesday 21st at 6.30pm. The bus for that match will leave the car park in Annagry at 5.40pm sharp.
Comhghairdeas le Casey McGarvey, Anagaire agus Saoirse Bonner, Céideadh who were part of the Donegal U-14 girls team who were at the All-Ireland Blitz in Mullingar on Saturday 17th May.

Training for U-10/U-12 Girls is from 5.30 to 6.30pm on Thursdays. Ladies/minors and U-16s training is on Thursday 6.30 to 7.30pm.
