Kilcar GAA Notes

Seniors
Our seniors and reserves both had good home wins against Gaoth Dobhair last Sunday the reserves were victors by 0-12 to 2-04 with the seniors won by 3-12 to 3-09 in a match where both sides were without county senior and minor players.  Kilcar

Next up for the reserves is a home tie against Ardara next Saturday at 7:30pm no senior match next weekend so next up for them is the quarter final Gaeltacht tie against Cill na Martha on Saturday week.

Ulster Championship
Best of luck to the Donegal senior and minor’s teams in the 2014 Ulster Championship match against Derry next Sunday and epically to the lads who are representing the club in both matches.

Underage
Our Under 14s had a hard fought victory over a very spirited Naomh Mhuire team on Wednesday night last in Glenties in the League Divisional Final in what was a close affair throughout the lads had to come from behind and levelled with 10 minutes to go, Cill Chartha’s greater hunger seen them through scoring 1-02 without reply to win the game the final score was Cill Chartha 1-12 Naomh Mhuire 2-04. They then played Naomh Colmcille last Saturday in the County League semi-final in Ballintra in what was a great team performance they qualified for the Divisional 2 League Final. Final score Cill Chartha 3-18 Naomh Colmcille 4-02. They now play Letterkenny Gaels in the Final this Friday 23rd May at 7pm in Tir Conaill Park Donegal Town, all the best boy’s!
