On Sunday, Oisin’s family issued a statement through the Villa Rose Hotel, were Oisin works as a bartender.

In the statement they thanked everybody for all their prayers and support, but said Oisin wasn’t responding to the treatment.

They asked for everybody to remain positive and for everyone to keep praying for Oisin.

Oisin 19, from Stranorlar suffered serious head injuries after falling while holidaying with friends in Santa Ponsa a fortnight ago.

Oisin is a talented footballer and plays for the Finn Harps U19 and reserve sides.

However, the club has now posted the following message on their Facebook timeline earlier stating that Oisin had made some small improvements in his condition.

Finn Harps posted, “News from Spain is that Oisin’s pressure reading has reduced in recent days. Baby steps in what we pray will eventually lead to the path of recovery. Oisin’s family would be very grateful if everyone would continue to send their prayers and positive thoughts. Many Thanks #prayforoisin
