Letterkenny Rovers Under 11 team – winners of the Foyle Cup.

Letterkenny Rovers Under 11 team have captured the Foyle Cup!

The team, managed by Brian Gallagher and Michael Boyle, capped off a great week by winning the tournament.

Following last year’s heart-breaking defeat in the Under 10 final, this was all the more a magnificent victory.

The team went unbeaten all week through the group stages the only team out of 38 to do so.

The final was a hard fought contest with rovers doing battle with a very fine Peamount Utd team from Dublin.

The game ended 0-0 and went on to penalties with Letterkenny coming out worthy winners 3-1.

The management team said they were so happy and proud off the teams efforts throughout the week.

Congratulations boys!
