TV crews and British newspaper journalists have been ordered to leave Mountcharles.
It follows the death of a local man earlier this week which the HSE linked in a Press Statement to a possible Ebola outbreak.
Members of the family had to call Gardaí about the large number of journalists in the village asking for interviews.
This was despite statements from TD Thomas Pringle and a local curate making it clear the family did not wish to speak.
They have been asked to be left alone to grieve in private.
