GAA NEWS: KILCAR WIN DIVISION ONE TITLE FOR THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1989

KilcarGAA NEWS: Kilcar Notes

Well done to our seniors who won the Division One League title for the first time since 1989 following a 5-17 to 0-10 win away to Gaoth Dobhair last Monday.

It’s the eleventh time in the clubs history to win the league they face St Michaels in Towney this Saturday at 3pm with the reserves on at 1:30pm.

There will be a gathering of the 1989 championship winning team this Saturday night in John Joe’s

Ten Week Draw

The annual Club Development Ten Week draw did not take place last Sunday but a double draw wuill take place this weekend tickets are still available from any of the club officer’s there’s a prize fund of €25,000 to be won.

Lotto

There was no winner of the Club Lotto Jackpot so next week’s Jackpot is €7,700 this week’s numbers were 3, 15, 17 and 20 winners were: €50 Hendrix O’Donnell (c/o Mags O’Donnell, The Rock), €30 Sean Doherty (Clogher) and €20 Francis Haughey. Lotto Plus numbers 3, 7, 13 and 21 there was no winner.

Bingo

Club Bingo winners were €150 Oliver Boyle (Glen), €120 Margaret Ann McBrearty, €80 Eithna Boyle, €70 Elize McMorrow, Theresa McBrearty, Brendan O’Keeney, Nollaig Gillespie, Annie Deane, Eimear McShane and Máire Gillespie. The Jackpot on Sunday is €3,100 on 45 numbers.
