GAA NEWS: TIR CHONAILL GAELS FACE COROFIN IN ALL-IRELAND QUARTER-FINAL

All-Ireland Club Quarter’ Final:

The arrangements for our upcoming All-Ireland club Quarter final have been confirmed with us going head to head with Galway kingpins Corofin.

The game takes place at Ruislip on Sunday 14th December at 1pm, we have clashed before at this stage back in 2008 with us going down by a scoreline of 2-7 to 0-6.

 

 

 

 

Gavin McEvoy:

 

The club bids farewell to club stalwart Gavin McEvoy who has left us to tour the world for a year.

 

Gavin who has been the clubs longest serving player, with him coming through the underage system has won every honour in London at every level. Sadly he wont be available for our All-Ireland QF game but we wish him well on his adventure.

 

 

 

 

Paddy Carr:

 

Best wishes to former manager Paddy Carr who has been appointed manager of Roscommon kingpins Saint Brigids. Paddy has been associated with the club since the eighties and he will be a valuable addition to the Brigids.

 

 

 

 

Calendar:

 

Popular club man Brendan “Tiny” Vaughan has launched his 2015 Donegal hospice calendar with all proceeds going to the Donegal hospice. Copies can be purchased at the club house or Tiny directly.

 

 

 

 

Xmas Party:

 

The club will host our Xmas party on Sunday 14th December in the clubhouse with music and hot buffet.

 

 

 

 

Engagement:

 

The club pass on our best wishes to former player Philip Gill who got engaged to Girlfriend Oonagh McFall last weekend.
