PICTURE SPECIAL: MORE MONSTER WAVES CONTINUE TO BATTER DONEGAL COASTLINE

IMG_5234DSC_0218DSC_0219DSC_0209IMG_5240IMG_5237PICTURE SPECIAL: Here are more images of the storm that is currently battering Donegal from different parts of the county.

The images have been taken from Bunaninver, Sheephaven Bay and Hornhead.

The pictures clearly indicate just how treacherous the weather conditions are at the minute.

Unfortunately the storm shows no sign of easing with weather forecasters predicting another stormy evening ahead.

The Donegal coastline has received a battering  that has resulted in the Ferry services into Arranmore Island having to suspend its service.

They could be forced to suspend again tomorrow if the adverse weather conditions continue which would obviously be a nightmare for Islanders.

Earlier this morning schoolchildren in Letterkenny had a lucky escape when a tree almost fell on their bus.

Thankfully the alert bus driver who has been hailed a hero managed to avoid the tree as it came crashing down on the road.

If you’ve got any video footage of the storm then send them into info@donegaldaily.com
