LETTERKENNY ROVERS DRAWN TO PLAY KILLESTER UNITED AT HOME IN FAI INTERMEDIATE CUP

Letterkenny Rovers have been handed a home tie on quarter-final of the FAI Intermediate Cup.

Letterkenny Rovers have been handed a home tie on quarter-final of the FAI Intermediate Cup.

SOCCER: Letterkenny Rovers have been handed a home draw in the next round of the FAI Intermediate Cup.

Rovers will face Killester United on Sunday, February 28th at Leckview in the quarter-final of the competition.

Manager Eamon McConigley will be delighted his side have been handed a home draw and will confident his side can progress to the semi-finals of the competition.

Letterkenny have defeated Cockhill Cetic, Dunboyne AFC (Meath) and Midleton (Cork) to set-up the home tie with Killester.

The Dublin outfit are a quality side, and knocked USL side Bonagee out of the competition in December.

Full draw is outlined below:

Letterkenny Rovers v Killester United
Firhouse Clover v Bandon AFC/Ringmahon Rangers
Cherry Orchard v Portmarnock/Carrigaline United
Crumlin United v Bluebell United

Ties to be played weekending 28th February.
