The Traveller’s Inn, Milford will host a Valentine’s night with a difference this weekend.

The Milford venue, famous for good food, is stepping away from the traditional meal for two over a bottle of red and opting for a fun disco night for couples, friends and family to enjoy.

Taking place on Saturday, 13th February, the theme for the evening is ‘Ladies in the Lounge with Lasagne and Wine’ and ‘Boys in the Bar with Burgers and Beer’.

Food will be served in the lounge and bar until 9.30pm and costs €10 per person including one drink. Resident DJ Samioki will be playing all time classic disco music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s from 10pm to late.

Early booking is advised for what promises to be a great night for singles and couples alike.

Commenting on the Valentine’s event, owner of The Traveller’s Inn, Michael McBride, told Donegal Daily “We just wanted to do something a little bit different for Valentine’s night and that’s how we came up with the concept.

“It’s the perfect night for couples and singles to meet up with their friends and family, enjoy a nice meal, have a great night and of course, the men and ladies will get a chance to mingle later in the evening.

“We’ll also have our traditional menu available all weekend, so anyone looking for a more intimate meal will also have that option.”

“Firmly established as one of the best restaurants in Donegal, The Traveller’s Inn is open for food every weekend from 12 – 9pm during the off peak season.”

The menu boasts a great selection of meat, poultry and fish dishes and has a reputation for excellent flavour and big portion sizes.

There’s live music every weekend and the venue hosts one of the best traditional Irish music sessions each Wednesday from 9.30pm.
