GAA NEWS: FOUR MASTERS EARN SUPERB HOME WIN OVER NAOMH MUIRE

Four Masters Club Notes 11/04/2016

Coaching Academy: The 2016 coaching academy for 4-7 year olds started last Saturday in Tír Chonaill with over 60 boys and girls (and parents) taking part in the drills and the games the astroturf was a hive of activity. New players and parents are always welcome to come along any Saturday morning from 11am. Parents are asked to stay with their children during the academy.

Indoor coaching: Thanks goes to all the coaches and parents who helped out with the U6 indoor coaching since January. Outdoor coaching for this U6 group will start in the next few weeks.

U8 Boys Football: Training on Thursday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm in Tír Chonaill. New players always welcome.

U14 Boys Football: The U14 played a number of games in the last week, losing out away to Aodh Ruadh on Friday before beating Ardara at home tonight. The boys play St Nauls at home next Monday night at 6:30pm.

U18 Boys Football: The minors lost out to Bundoran last Wednesday night. THE Boys are now down to play at home to St. Nauls this Wednesday, throw in at 7pm.

Reserves: The reserves made it 2 wins out of 3 games on Sunday with a comfortable 2-10 to 0-07 win over Naomh Muire. Special mention goes to Daniel Martin who made his reserve debut on the day.

Senior Mens Football: The senior beat Naomh Muire by 7 points with the early goals making the difference. The seniors and reserves play at home to Malin this Sunday, throw ins at 1:30pm and 3pm.

Donegal GAA: Well done to Kate Keaney who helped Donegal ladies defeat Cavan on Sunday in Tír Chonaill. Hard luck to Karl Lacey and the Donegal team on their defeat to Dublin on Sunday. Good luck to Aaron McCrea and Thomas McGowan who play for Donegal U18 and U17 teams this weekend against Monaghan in the Ulster league semi finals in Clones. Goodluck to Cathal Canavan, Brian Fegan, Cian Hegarty and Jamie Crawford who start their Donegal U16 development squad year with a game away to Roscommon on Sunday.

Social Night: Mr and Mrs will be held in Doms Peir 1 on Friday night at 9pm. Come along and support the club for a great nights entertainment.

Club Lotto: Renew Subscriptions, the club would ask all persons that are members of our lotto to pay annual subscription to sellers of to treasurer Paul Timoney 0872791305. New members are welcome with quarterly and half yearly subscriptions available.
