Buncrana is doing the businesses today!

That was the message from Bank of Ireland’s Enterprise Town exhibition which took place at the Plaza today.

More than one hundred businesses are taking part in the business expo representing a wide range of business interests.

The various businesses include Peninsula Property, Supervalu Buncrana, Apple Green, Inishowen Engineering, Stationery 2000, the Red Door, Smart Mums Market, Inishowen Pens, Sliabh Sneacht Heritage Centre and MLMG Financial Brokers.

There was also a celebrity feel to today’s business expo with Mrs Brown’s boy himself Danny ‘Buster’ O’Carroll cutting the ribbon to official open the event.

There is a real family atmosphere to the event with children’s colouring competitions and spot prices galore.

Liz Sullivan from Bank of Ireland welcomed everyone to the event and praised all the hard work carried out in getting the event together.

“It is amazing to see so many businesses here today and it is a credit to everyone who has turned out to show what their business has to offer.

“It’s no exaggeration to say that Buncrana is alive today with business and everyone should be proud of themselves,” she said.
