The golfing season is in full swing at Otway, and the scoring recently has reflected the high standards some members have hit already, with the year’s Majors just around the corner.

Thomas Merrit’s Captain’s Day takes place on Saturday 4th June, when members will compete for the Captain’s prize, a title which has eluded a lot of golfers throughout their golfing life.

Only members who have competed in at least two club competitions in 2016 will be in the running for the main prize, but can compete for the remainder of the impressive prizes up for grabs on the day.

After a recent win by Francis McFadden by the narrowest of margins, a win by Paddy Lynch in last weeks Stroke competition, and an amazing hole in one by past captain Martin Duffy, excitement is peaking at Otway for the June bank holiday weekend, full details next week!
