SOCCER: The Club were pleased to have collected two awards at the Ulster Senior League end of seasons award night which was held last weekend.
Darren McElwaine picked up the top goalscorer award for his ace marksmanship in front of goal while the PR team at the club picked up the Media and Communications award for the second year running.
McElwaine netted 12 goals in a stellar league season while the clubs run to the intermediate cup final and the publicity generated was due in no small part to the clubs media personnel which comprised Eric White, Stephen Doherty and club PRO Kieran McGrath.
Well done to everyone as its always nice to lift silverware.
Preparations are now cranking up a notch for this seasons Foyle Cup which is only just over 4 weeks away.
The under 9s under Brian Gallagher had a successful day at the Arena 7 cup in Bonagee last Sunday as their pre tournament plans continued while the club will also be represented in the u11s, u14s and u17s categories.
This weeks mini lotto numbers were 3-5-17 and 18.
3 winners matched three and win 25euro each.
Winners were Karol Doherty, Jimmy Kennedy and Ann Colhoun.
Next weeks jackpot is 3775 euro.
Club bingo continues in the Station House Hotel on Thursday evenings at 830pm sharp.
