DONEGAL DEATH NOTICES FOR TODAY, SATURDAY, JULY 3RD.

 

HANNIGAN

The death has occurred of Carmel Hannigan (née Fletcher) of Drumboe Avenue, Stranorlar, peacefully in the loving care of her family and staff at Brindley Manor Nursing Home Convoy, in her 93rd year. Beloved wife of the late Jim and much loved mother of Maura, Tess, Dermott, Seamus, Josh, Carmel, Finian, Sean, Rory, Trudy and Evelyn. Cherished sister of Sean and the late Bill. Deeply regretted by her sons, daughters,brother, brothers-in law, sisters-in-law, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Remains reposing at her home from 5pm on Monday July 4th until rosary at 10pm, and on Tuesday July 5th from 12 noon until rosary at 10 pm. Funeral leaving her home on Wednesday July 6th at 11.30am for requiem Mass in the Church of Mary Immaculate Stranorlar at 12 noon, followed by interment in Drumboe cemetery. Donations in lieu of flowers please, if so desired, to The Brindley Manor Residence Comfort Fund c/o anyfamily member. DOHERTY

The death has taken place at her home of Bridie Doherty (Miller), 26a Elm Park, Ballymagan, Buncrana, Co Donegal. Beloved wife of Thomas and dear mother of Gabrielle, Sharon, Eddie, Michael, Marguerite and Tommy.

Funeral from her home on Tuesday morning 5th July leaving at 10.15am going to St Mary’s Church, Cockhill for Requiem Mass at 11.00am. Interment immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family time please between 11.00pm – 10.00am.

 

BROWNE

The death has occurred of Gerald (Gerry) Browne, formerly of Convoy, Co. Donegal. Peacefully in St. Vincent’s Private Hospital surrounded by his family and in the wonderful care of the Haematology team of Cedars Ward. Beloved husband of Sybil and dear father of Ann, Linda and Lucy, loving grandfather of Siobhan, Orla, Alex, David, Max and Tessa. Much loved and sadly missed by his family, sister Kay, son-in laws, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Reposing this Tuesday afternoon (5th July) in Carnegie’s Funeral Home, The Crescent, Monkstown, from 3pm – 6pm. Removal on Wednesday morning (6th July) to Church of Our Lady of Perpetual Succour, arriving at 9.50am for 10am Funeral Mass, followed cremation at Mt.Jerome, Harold’s Cross, Dublin 6w. Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to the Irish Cancer Society (Haematology)
