GAA News: Glenfin to clash with Naomh Muire this Saturday

Senior Football
Senior ladies had no fixture this week.

Seniors and reserves played Naomh Muire in the league on Saturday evening, unfortunately the reserves were beat but the seniors put in a big performance to secure another two valuable points.

Senior team and scorers: Liam O Meara – Martin O Donell – John Harkin – David Carr – Dean Herron – Steven McGlynn – Gary Dorrian – Michael McGlynn 02 – Patrick McGrath – Daniel McGlynn – Paddy O Connor 01 – Jason Morrow 01 – Kevin McGlynn – Gerard Ward 08 – Jason Marley, Subs used: Gary Herron – Matthew McGinley – Aodhfin McGlynn.

Both teams were fixed to play Cloughaneely away but that fixture is changed now and both teams will play Naomh Muire at home next Sunday the 24th at 1.30pm and 3.00pm.

The 3rd team had no fixture last weekend their next fixture is home to Glenswilly next Saturday the 23rd i the Senior C Championship. Throw in at 7.00pm

 

Lotto
Winning numbers for 19/07/2016 are 5-4- 2-6- 3- 7-1- 8. No winners Jackpot for the 26/07/2016 €3850.00.

 

Ulster final
Congratulations to Stephen Carr and the Donegal minors who beat Derry in the Ulster Minor final in Clones on Sunday last. Hard luck to Frank McGlynn and the seniors who lost out in a very tight match against Tyrone.

Both teams play Cork now on Saturday the 30th of July in Croke Park. Ticket prices for those games, Adult tickets are €25, under 16 €5. Student / OAP are €25 and you will get €10 back on the day.

Orders must be in with Kate McGlynn by 12 midnight on Thursday 21st so get you order in soon.

 

Minor board:
Under age training: Wednesdays U8 and U10 6.00pm- 700p.  U12 & U13 boys 6.00pm to 7.00pm.

U12
Congratulations to our U12 girls who won the blitz final on Saturday last the 16 th in Glenfin. The U12 boys had no game this week.

U14
Hard luck to our U14 girls who were beat by Downings in Downings on Thursday evening last the 14 th. The U14 boys have finished for this season but the U13 competition will start later in the year.

U16
Hard luck to the U16 boys who lost to Convoy by two points on Friday evening the 15th. U16 girls are due to start in August.

U18
Our Minor ladies had another good won last night Tuesday against Convoy. The Minor boys had no fixture this week due to the Ulster minor final. Next fixture TBC.
