St. Michael’s GAA wish Donegal players good luck in Quarter Final in Croke Park

Well Done
Well done to the Donegal Minor Team and Management on their great win over Cork on Saturday evening last in Croke Park to qualify for the All Ireland Semi Final.

Well done also to the Senior team and Management and good luck to them in their Quarter Final in Croke Park on this Saturday evening with the throw in at 6pm.

St. Michael’s Mini Lotto

There was no jackpot winner in the St. Michael’s Mini Lotto on Sunday night last. The numbers drawn were 4,5,7,12,13,15. There were two 5 winners Sean McGarvey Dublin and May Cox Ards who won €20 each This weeks Jackpot be €2250.

The Club would like to thank Brian and Margaret Anne Dolan, Molly’s Bar Dunfanaghy, Seamus Sweeney Kildarragh Construction Philadelphia, Shaun Langan Creeslough Pallets and Michael McColgan Dunfanaghy for their continuing sponsorship of the lotto jackpot, it is very much appreciated.

Tickets are on sale in local businesses in Dunfanaghy and Creeslough and at the Bingo Session in Massinass Community Centre Creeslough on Sunday evenings, tickets for the St. Michaels Mini Lotto can now also be purchased on line anywhere at at onlinelotto on facebook .

 

St. Michael’s Bingo Session
The €100 on the 5th Game at the Bingo Session in Dunfanaghy on Sunday night last was won by Shaun Breslin Drimnaraw, the €100 on the 10th Game was won by Margaret Brennan Massinass Creeslough.

Every house – New Car, if you check on 45 Numbers or less with the Lucky number in the Panel and also called in the first five numbers of that game.

The Magic Number from 1 to 90 is drawn out every Sunday night before the bingo begins. In addition every House winner will receive a free entry to the weekly lotto, this weeks Jackpot is €2250. The single book is €8, Double, Double Book €12, Sheet €2. Bingo continues every Sunday evening at 8pm in the Massinass Community Centre.

 

SOS For Photographs!
Nicola is currently gathering photographs for the clubhouse. If anyone has ANY team photographs from winning senior, reserve, u21 or any underage teams in league/championship/Gaeltacht she would really appreciate if you let her know. All hard copies of the photos will be returned to you safely once we make a copy of them or likewise photos can be emailed to secretary.stmichaels.donegal@gaa.ie
Please spread the word as the team photos required date back to 1967! All help with this little project would be much appreciated. Thanks everyone.

 

Club Gear

Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure is now stocking St Michael’s club gear in children and adult sizes. Initials can be embroidered on tops if requested in the shop.

 

St. Michael’s Minor Board

Sports Day

Creeslough Sports in aid of St. Michael’s Minor Board will take place this Sunday August 7th, beginning at 1pm with an underage football match. The Sports are planned for the Pitch in Creeslough, but may have to change to St. Michael’s Pitch at the Bridge. In the event of change we will endeavour to let you all know. Any queries contact Ann Marie on 0879454107. Sandwiches, homebaking/any help on the day/raffle prizes/donations will be greatly appreciated. It would be great to see a big crowd to support St. Michael’s Minor Board on the day.

U8s

Training continues on Thursday evening at the Bridge from 6pm to 7pm. Bus leaves Creeslough at 5.45pm, €3 for bus Any queries : please contact Bernard on 087 248 1402.

Under 10s

Training as normal this Thursday at the Bridge 6 -7pm. Bus leaves Creeslough at 5.45pm .e 3 for the bus . Any queries please contact Aidan on 083 801 7333.

Under 13s

Training begins Tuesday August 9th at the Bridge at 5.30pm. Bus leaves Creeslough at 5pm. 3 euro for bus; any queries please contact Darragh on 0851602976.

Under 14s

The Under 14’s lost to Fanad in the Division 2 Shield final. The team was unlucky as they were missing a number of players; otherwise we could have a different result.

Minors

St. Michael’s played Buncrana .in a championship game at home last Monday evening. The boys all played great and with a great team effort ran out winners on a scoreline of 2-12 to 0-7.
