Termon GAA Minor Board (in association with Kelly’s CENTRA Mountain Top Letterkenny)

Congrats to Enda and all involved in the Donegal Minor team on their excellent victory over Cork on Saturday last. Enda’s 2 second half points from play were crucial scores, well done Enda. Our Minor team were due to play Malin on Monday last in game 2 of their Minor Championship but sadly the Inishowen boys were unable to travel. The Championship will now be put on hold until after the Donegal Minors’ All Ireland Semi Final.

Our U16s are awaiting this week’s draw to see who they will face next Monday in the NRB Div 2 League Quarter Final. Good luck boys, details will be sent out on the coming days.

Our U12s received the fantastic news this week that they will be one of the 6 Donegal clubs taking part in the Annual Ulster Council activity day on August 16 th . Coaching resumed this week with this and upcoming tournaments in Moy and Magera in mind and details will be sent regarding this week’s schedule.

Our U10s travelled in big numbers to Malin on Sunday last for a fantastic tournament. Thanks as usual to David and his helpers for their hard work. All 3 teams can be pleased with their performances with the girls once again showing great improvement and they really enjoys their gaels with the hosts.

The boys’ teams performed well and will have learned a lot from all the games. Thanks to Malin for the invitation and the day out. These boys and girls have another run out tomorrow (Wednesday) against Letterkenny Gaels in Letterkenny. Any queries to David on 085 1305332

Next week is the biggest week on the Minor Board calendar with our Annual Cúl Camp taking place at the Burn Road from Mon 8th – Fri 12 th 10am -2.30 each day. Over recent years under the supervision of Brian Trearty and Paddy Mc Menamin the numbers attending have greatly increased and no doubt this year’s coordinator Hugh Harkin will be hoping to build on the success of the past few years. Ideally you can register your child online or if you intend registering on Monday please text Hugh on 087 6891967 in advance.

Well done to our U14 boys who defeated Aodh Rua Ballyshannon in The County A Championship Semi Final on Friday last in Convoy. Another impressive team performance will have please James and Paddy.

A County Final against neighbours St Eunans possibly on Friday week Aug 12 th is the reward for their latest victory. Details will be confirmed at training during the week.
