BIRTHDAY: Donegal captain and talisman Michael Murphy is celebrating his 27th birthday today.

Murphy is one of the greatest ever players this county has produced, and at 27 has already won three Ulster SFC titles – and captained Donegal to All-Ireland glory in 2012.

Murphy-Donegal-Shout

He celebrates his 27th birthday today, but we all know what present the Glenswilly man wants more than anything.

That’s a victory over Dublin on Saturday of course, which would send Donegal into the semi-finals of the All-Ireland series.

Pundits and GAA commentators are predicting a resounding win for Dublin, but remember 2014?

We flipped the script that day, and we can do that again on Saturday to set up a clash with Kerry later this month.

With Michael Murphy in our team, anything is possible, he’s just that good!

No birthday cake until Saturday night! 🙂
