Letterkenny Blaze Summer Camp starts next Monday with 3 different camps running each day Junior 10 am – 1pm, Intermediate 2.00 pm – 5 pm and Senior from 5.30 – 8.30 pm.
There are a few spaces left in the Junior and Senior Camps but Intermediate is full.
As a precursor to camp, Coach Pat Price is giving a coaching clinic in the Loreto gym on Sunday evening from 6.00 pm to 8.30 pm.
Coach Price is the current under 15 men’s Irish National Team Coach but has fulfilled many coaching roles in his native America.
He has also held the roles of Head Coach for some of Ireland’s most successful Superleague teams.
Some of the areas which Pat will cover are:
– Coaching Youth Basketball – specifically aimed at u8/u10/u12 age groups
– Team Defence with young players.
It is hoped as many of our coaches will attend. Coaches from other clubs are also welcome to attend (€10 visiting coaches)”
