Donegal Olympian Chloe jets off to Rio

Chloe McGee pictured here with the Badminton Ireland team as they depart for Rio from Dublin airport this afternoon.

The three time Olympian from Raphoe will no doubt be a star at Rio 2016.

The Olympic games has been over shadowed with the Zika and doping scandals but Magee has no concerns heading to the games.

“I think it is something everybody has been talking about but we have been well briefed by the doctors.”

“I fully trust them that they have given us the information and I believe what they are telling us is right. They won’t let us go if it is too dangerous.” – said Magee.
We wish Chloe, badminton Ireland – all the Donegal Olympians, and all representing Ireland at the summer games the very best of luck.
