OUCH! Donegal’s Carl McHugh suffered a nasty injury on his SPL debut for Motherwell earlier this afternoon.
The former Reading, Bradford City and Plymouth Argyle player signed for Motherwell in July.
McHugh, who hails from Lettermacaward in the Rosses, suffered the horrible injury in Motherwell’s 2-1 win away to Kilmarnock.
McHugh suffered the horrible injury just above his eye in the 56th minute and was subsequently replaced.
He is pictured above getting treatment following the sickening collision.
McHugh, who helped Bradford reach the League Cup Final in 2012, is tipped to be a massive player by Motherwell boss Marc McGhee.
However, it wasn’t the debut McHugh would’ve wished for, but the Rosses man is made of tough stuff, and will no doubt be back in no time at all.
