Buncrana accident picture reveals why you should never drink and drive

Gardaí have urged people to take caution on our roads after an incident in Buncrana.

It appears that the van flipped after crashing into signage and metal barriers in Buncrana in the early hours of Sunday morning.

It is believed that the driver had been drinking before getting behind the wheel.

Gardaí tweeted; “Never, ever, drink and drive. Leave the car at home. Know when to stop”.

Luckily no one sustained any serious injuries from the accident, but this photograph is a harrowing reminder of what can happen if you’re careless behind the wheel.
