Rovers host Cockhill Celtic in massive FAI Intermediate Cup clash at Leckview

National Cup action takes pride of place this weekend with the seniors in FAI intermediate Cup action against Cockhill Celtic  this Sunday at Leckview with a 2pm start. All support would be greatly appreciated and Eamon McConigleys men will go into this one on the back of an excellent 2-1 win on the opening day of the League season against Derry City Reserves with goalscorers being Steve Okakpo-Emeka and Darren McElwaine.

U12 SFAI Cup action takes place on Saturday morning when Eddie McGraths side travel to play Bonagee with a 10.30am start.

Last weekend was a very good one for the club with most of our sides emerging victorious with our Youths winning 5-1 at Gweedore Utd in the Donegal Youth League. Goalscorers were Shane Doherty, Darragh Morrison(2), Ciaran Daffan and Cameron Gormley and they play Fanad this Saturday at the Aura at 2pm.

Our 16s drew with Bonagee 0-0 before winning 7-2 against Dunfanaghy with goals from Clinton Ilupeju(2), Ryan O’Donnell (2), Joe McGill, Brandon Manues and Oran Winston and they travel to play Swilly this Saturday at 2pm.

Our u14s Rovers drew 0-0 with Gweedore Celtic and are have two trips in three days as they head to play Gweedore Utd on Thursday before a trip to Mulroy on Saturday morning at 1145am. Our u14s Crusaders lost out 3-1 to Gweedore Celtic with Sean McGinley netting and they head to Glenea this Saturday at 1145am while the u14s United had a big 7-1 win over Gweedore Celtic Impact with goals from Paul McGreevy, Brian Anthony, Talha Altaf, Sean Pascual and Mohammed Khan with a hattrick and they head to play Lurgy Celtic on Sunday at 1130am.

Our u12s Rovers had a great 3-1 win at Gweedore Utd with goals from  Ben Cassidy, Josh Patton(pen) and Fawad Bashar in that one while the u12s Crusaders won 7-1 at Bonaee Arcade and on the mark there were Donal Gallagher (2), Conor Kelly (2) and Kian McGrath, Mark Bonner and Elijah and they are home to Gweedore Cosmos at the Aura junior pitch on Sunday at 10am.

The clubs annual draw tickets are now on sale priced at ten euro and everyone within the club is asked to try and put in as much effort as possible to ensure its continued success.

This weeks mini Lotto numbers are 1,4, 11 and 17.
Five people Matched three numbers and receive 15euro each;
Arthur Gent, Gerry Meehan, Ginia Kelly, Agnes Kavanagh and Rory O’Gorman the lucky winners.
Next weeks jackpot is 4100 euro.

Club Bingo continues in the Station House Hotel every Thursday night at 830pm sharp. Snowball is 1275 euro on 45 numbers or less.
