Golf: Cecelia Doran ‘stuffs’ her competitors to win a ‘turkey’ at Barnhill

With the amazing October weather continuing the lure of the Turkey competitions has not diminished.
The latest results, back nine winner was Cecelia Doran with 17 pts(bot) the runner-up was Anne Condon on17 pts also.
On the front nine it was Grainne Hines who had the top score of 19 pts(bot) runner-up Marian O Sullivan 19pts.
Mary Murray bagged another turkey with 17pts, her runner-up was Marian O Sullivan on 16 pts.
It was Mary Ellen Mc Nulty’s turn to win with super 23pts(bot) followed closely by Eileen Williamson also with 23pts. Well done ladies congratulations to all.

The wonderful sunshine which heralded the Hamper competition played on Sunday Oct 23rd remained all day much to the delight of all those players competing on a very full time-sheet.
The winner of this years hamper was Tracy Spence with 36pts(bot). Runner-up Mary-Ellen Mc Nulty also on 36 pts. In third place was Cynthia Furey with 33pts(bot). Heartiest congratulations ladies.

Deepest sympathy is extended to Elaine Russell on the sad passing of her mother Christina Mc Monagle, Raphoe.
