GAA News: Glenswilly to host its AGM this Sunday

AGM

This year’s CLG Gleann t-Súilí AGM will be held on Sunday 20th November 2016 at 3pm in the clubhouse. The nomination letters were posted out on Thursday 3rd Nov.
Nominations and motions should be returned to Aisling McDaid, Glenkeeragh, New Mills, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. The deadline for returns is Thursday, 17th Nov at 5pm. The club would like to urge people to get involved and help out in your local Gaelic club on both match days and at underage level.

Seniors/Reserves

Seniors finished their season of with a win against Dungloe in the league and finishing 7th overall in the Allsports Division 1 league on 13 pts. Final score Dungloe 3-7 Glenswilly 3-9. Reserve game was cancelled.

The Barney Pat Memorial Cup – €2,500 in prize money

Glenswilly GAA annual card drive is on this Friday night, November 18th with €2,500 in prize money. Please come along tickets €25. The Barney Pat McDaid memorial cup will also be presented to the winner. Please spread the word to anybody plays 25 should be a great nights craic.

Annual pass

As and from the 1st December 2016 CLG Dun na nGall will have an (Club Football Only pass) Annual Club Pass for sale for the 2017 Season. This pass will give admission to all **Adult League & Championship matches under the control of Donegal GAA for 2017 Season. The pass has an RRP of €149. Orders for 2017 Club Pass Orders will be taken via email to the County Office from the Club Secretary E-mail address only. Closing Date for Orders from clubs will be March 17th.

** Adult League & Championship Matched. Includes U21. Does not include U18 & Below.

Lotto

The winner of last week’s club lotto was Catherine McBride of Churchill who matched two numbers. The winning numbers were 11,12,20 and 22. The lotto is one of the club’s main sources of fundraising and lottos are available in most local outlets. Please support the weekly lotto.

Bingo

The bingo continues in the hall each and every Wednesday at 9pm. There is over €2,000 in prize money each week.
