Donal Reid’s signing sessions of his autobiography continue in Eason’s Bookshop in the Letterkenny Shopping Centre this Saturday, December 2nd.

The author of ‘Confessions of a Gaelic Footballer’ will be in the
store from 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to sign copies of the book which
has been receiving glowing reviews.

Such has been the huge demand for the book that a second print had to
be organised.

“Nearly all copies from the first batch printed have been sold. And
with the busy shopping period still to kick in, a second print has
been organised and will be ready for distribution before the weekend,” 1992 All-Ireland winner Reid said.

“I’ve had signing sessions in Letterkenny and Carndonagh and I must say I’ve really enjoyed meeting people and having the craic with them.

“The feedback has been great and it’s nice to get positive reaction to
the book.

“There’s a demand from all over for the book. Copies have been sent to
Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, America and Argentina.

“I’ve also had a bookshop in Cork looking for copies, while a box has just been
dispatched to a bookstore in Cookstown that had a lot of enquiries
about the book.”

Other signings have been organised for Macs Bookshop, Buncrana on
Friday, December 16th from 11 am to 1 pm; Supervalu, Ballybofey on
Thursday, December 22nd between 10 am and 2 pm and Bradley’s Shop, The
Cross, Friday, December 23rd from 10 am to 1 pm.

A Dublin launch of the book has been arranged for Cassidy’s on Camden
Street on Thursday, December 8th at 6.30 pm.

The publication was launched in the Abbey Hotel, Donegal Town, in
October, with all proceeds going to Pieta House.
