OISIN GALLEN scored a fabulous 1-11 as St Columba’s College, Stranorlar won the Danske Bank Arthurs Cup yesterday.

St Columba’s defeated Holy Cross Strabane 2-15 to 3-9 at Derry’s Celtic Park on a day when Gallen hit the high notes.

Five of Gallen’s points came from play and he scored a goal in a crazy spell in the second half that yielded four goals in a three-minute spell.

A first-half goal by Adam Edwards had Holy Cross 1-6 to 0-6 ahead at half-time.

Gallen blast into the roof of the net in the 46th minute and St Columba’s led by five points when Conor Bonner netted.

However, goals by Tom Mullan and Sean Maxwell regained control for Holy Cross.

Led by Gallen, who scored four late points, St Columba’s took the prize.
