Urris GAA club: Ducks in a row for the annual St Stephen’s Day race

Urris club Bingo every Thursday night in St Mary’s Hall, Clonmany at 9pm. Every Thursday night until Christmas we will have Side Prizes plus a cuppa and biscuit for all bingo goers. So come along, bring a friend and try your luck.
Bingo Vouchers on sale for €10. Please contact John Friel or get at the bingo on Thursday night.

Ducks are now on sale for €5 for our annual Duck Race on St Stephen’s Day at Binnion Bridge at 1pm. Ducks can be purchased from Alan Friel (0879029672), Adrian Doherty (0879810304) or Michael Doherty (S) 0879975610). Great prizes to be won on the day:
1st Duck home €150.
2nd Duck home: €100.
3rd Duck home: €50.
Last Duck home €50.
Plus prizes for Best Dressed Duck and for guessing the correct time for the winning duck. .

Match N Win for December 15th: No jackpot winner: Numbers drawn: 2, 10, 12 & 22. €15 Winners: John Moore, Cloontagh, Danny Gordon, Isle of Doagh, Annie Duffy, Letter, Louise Grant, Cleagh, Orla Lagan, Magheramore. Jackpot next week €2,420. Thanks to all our lotto sellers and to all who support the club in this weekly draw.

Underage: Friday – U6 upstairs in the Youth Club from 5.30pm to 6.30pm. Friday – U8 on the Astro from 5.30pm to 6.30pm; Friday – U10 Girls on Astro from 6.30pm to 7.30pm; Saturday – U10 boys on Astro from 11am to 12 noon; Cost €2 per child to cover cost of the venue. Please Note: Parents/Guardians of all ages must sign their children on Friday evening and on Saturday morning if it their first time attending training.

Tickets are now on sale for several excellent prizes including A new Opel Corsa Car, Travel vouchers, GAA All Ireland packages. Tickets are €10 and all funds raised by the club stays in the club to help with the day to day running of the club from under age to senior level. Club members and coaches will be out and about in the parish selling these tickets in the coming weeks. In addition to the prizes on the tickets the club is also running a club draw for all tickets sold, top prize an I phone, club merchandise etc.

The yearbook 2016 has a comprehensive round up of the GAA year at county and club level in Donegal. Books cost €15 and if interested please contact John Friel.
