The sad passing has occurred of well-known Letterkenny businessman Gerry Deignan.

Mr Deignan, who was in his 70s, was well-known for his role as manager of Donegal Creameries for many years.

A native of Riverstown in Co Sligo, Mr Deignan is survived by his wife Kathleen and their four children Helen, Louise, Philip and David.
