There are 20 reported incidents of water disruptions across the county today.

Irish Water are citing a range of essential works, burst water mains and repairs which have caused supplies to be disrupted in recent days.

There are burst water mains reported in Donegal Town which are affecting Donegal Town Community Hospital and surrounding areas. Repairs are expected to be finished by 3pm this afternoon.

Essential works are being carried out today on the water services in Frosses,  Convoy, Lifford and Drumkeen.

In Letterkenny, repairs to a burst water main may cause supply disruptions to Ramelton Road, Thorn Road, Elmwood Downs, Orchard Grove, Ballyraine, Derry Road, Dromore and surrounding areas. Repairs are expected to be finished by 3pm this afternoon.

Irish Water said that supplies should be returning to affected properties in Ballyshannon following a burst water main yesterday. A number of streets in the town centre had supply disruptions.

The service is also expected to return to normal in Malin and Church Brae, Fahan after a burst mains yesterday.
