There is outrage among the ordinary community in Letterkenny after another break-in to St Bernadette’s Special School.

Two men wearing masks were captured on CCTV gaining entry to the building in the early hours of Sunday morning last.

The pair were pictured rummaging through filing cabinets looking for cash.

A spokesperson for the school stressed that no cash is ever kept on the premises.

It is understood that keys from the school were also stolen.

It is the second burglary at the school in recent months following another break-in during December last.

Gardai confirmed that have launched an investigation into the burglary and have appealed for anybody who was passing by the premises around 2am on Sunday morning who witnessed anything to get in touch.
