Maginn Park a sell-out as Derry set to face Limerick in Buncrana

Maginn Park is officially a sell-out for tonight’s SSE Airtricity League Premier Division clash of Derry City and Limerick FC.

Derry are using Maginn Park as their home venue for the 2017 season while redevelopment works are carried out at Brandywell Stadium.

After a 4-1 away win at Bohemians last week, Kenny Shiels’ team will be confident of adding another three points tonight, although a 5-1 whacking of Sligo means Limerick head for Inishowen in top form, too.

It will be a big night for Derry’s new signing Mark Timlin, who lives only a stone’s throw away from Maginn Park.

Derry had to carry out minor upgrade works, including the installation of seating and emergency lighting before a Premier Division licence was granted.

Tonight, Maginn will be full to its 1,574 capacity.
