All-Ireland glory as Jordan Boyce hits the bullseye in Clare!

Newtowncunningham darts ace Jordan Boyce won the All-Ireland Youth Championship title today in Ennis, County Clare.

The Deele College student, who competed in the World Youth final in January 2016 at the Lakeside, defeated Keane Barry from Meath in today’s final.

Boyce overcame Barry 4-1 in the singles final.

In his semi-final, Boyce defeated Tom Byrne 3-2 while Barry overcame Wayne Dunne in his semi.

Boyce got past the challenge of Dylan Crane 3-2 in the quarter-finals

Boyce was also victorious in the pairs as he teamed up with Brian Fletcher to take the win.

In the team tournament, Donegal were beaten 3-2 by Offaly in the semi-finals. After coming through the group including Meath, Tipperary, Offaly and Limerick, they defeated Cork in a quarter-final before bowing out to Offaly.

The second Donegal team lost out to Tipperary in the last 16.

The Donegal players who played in the competition were: Jordan Boyce, Owen Murray, Lee Moore, Shaun Bryant, Stephen Bryant, Callum Doherty, Daniel Meehan, Liam Donaghan, Aiden McGinley, Chris Flood, Kyle Louge Davis, Alex Hughes, Ryan McBrearty, Dylan Linton and Dylan Curran.
